About the BSc Logistic Management Program
The BSc Logistic Management program allows students to specialize in the broad area of Logistics and Operations Management. The program reflects the evolution of the study of logistics from its original context of transport to its present setting of business logistics. The aims of the program are help students appreciate the impact of logistic and operational processes at international, regional and national levels, the community level and level of the firm. Moreover, this program prepare students for possible careers as entrepreneurs, business owners, managers in the public or private sectors, policy makers in governments, and as researchers.
Program Structure
In the first three years, a range of foundation courses provide students with an understanding of the role of the core business and marketing disciplines: economics, finance, operations and information management, human resource management, marketing as well as operation management, and a third year core course provides a viewpoint on the contemporary supply chain management. Alongside these courses, disciplinary courses provide training in economics and organizational behaviour, and in both quantitative and qualitative research methods, so that students leave the program with a good understanding of the basis of logistic industry sustainability and development. Students will also have the opportunity to take courses in other related departments within the College.
