2020 Master Program in Management
Capital University of Economics and Business
This is a two-year program. There are two semesters in each academic year: Fall and Spring. Each semester consists of sixteen weeks for teaching.
It is important to plan carefully to make sure that you schedule all of your required courses. For the Master Degree in Business Administration, applicants must fulfill at least 40 credits according to the following requirements. The passing score for a master degree applicant should be 70 (at 100 percent system).
All students must complete the following 5 fundamental courses, totally 19 credits.
- Chinese Culture and National Conditions (3 credits)
- Chinese (3 semesters, 9 credits)
- Intermediate Microeconomics (3 credits)
- Management classics (2 credits)
- Business Statistics (2 credits)
All students must complete the following 6 core courses, totally 13 credits.
- Advanced Research Methods (3 credits)
- International Management (2 credits)
- Strategic Management (2 credits)
- Human Resource Management (2 credits)
- International Marketing (2 credits)
- Operation Management (2 credits)
Each student must obtain at least 8 credits from the following.
- Public Relations (2 credits)
- Corporate Finance (2 credits)
- Project Financial Management (2 credits)
- Industrial and Organizational Psychology (2 credits)
- Marketing Management (2 credits)
- Industrial Organization Theory (2 credits)
- Global Research Workshops & Thesis Consultation (2 credits)

The thesis should represent the students’ personal work under the supervision of the supervisor, and be written clearly and concisely in English. The Title and Abstract of the Master’s thesis should be in both English and Chinese.
The postgraduate students will not be allowed to attend the dissertation defence if their credits are less than 40.
At the end of second semester, the College of Business Administration will assign the supervisors for the students.
The topic of the thesis should be compatible with business administration.
This training program is suitable for international students of Grade 2020 in Master degree of Management.
